Joy and Joe: Whoa!!! What an amazing adventure you are on!! It's been fun reading all of your blogs and can't wait to see all your pics. Life here has been a bit of an adventure as well. I'm hangin on for the ride, but the scenery doesn't compare to yours, I'm afraid. We all miss you terribly and look forward to your return. I am so glad you are having such a great trip, and await a long evening of great stories. Look for some pics from the OL/PA crew in your email. Love to you both, Heidi Ho

Hey Joe! This is Brandon Torrigino...
you might have seen me around once or twice back at santa cruz...... in crown college i think it was........ :P

ya...............

ANYWAY I just read almost all of your blogs (and joy's too of course) and I noticed you guys are headed towards Myanmar and Yangon. My parents currently live in Yangon and they teach at an International School there.

http://www.isy.net.mm/

that is the website to the school and my parent's emails are:

Sarah Beesley: sbeesley@isy.net.mm
Alan Torrigino: atorrigino@isy.net.mm

I know that they would love to meet you for more reasons that I could even count, but i can bet that at the very least they would be interested in hearing about SAS and your travels in Asia. One reason they moved to Yangon so that they could more easily access Asian culture and countries.

So I am just putting that out there. I will email them with your address and hopefully you guys can connect. My parents LOVE having guests, in fact some of their best friends just left town today so that means they are probably very much in the mood still. Heck my dad is always in the mood to explore strange cities with people (remember my parents just moved there a few months ago)......

Okay it is late, i am tired but being an RA in Rutherford is great and for the most part it seems that people can't wait till you get back!

I wish you safe and memorable journeys,
Brandon :¬)

Joseph! Joy!

Thanks for the postcard! And I'm writing not just because you threatened me, but because I've been meaning to. So, here are your "effing" comments... :)

Love the blog, love the photos, love the witty commentary. It makes me wish I was an RD on a ship instead of at a stationary campus. You guys are so thoughtful. Thanks for sharing your experience with everyone!

Take care. Be well. Safe travels.

Love,
emily.
